When my Vika first walked through the doors of the lyceum in year 5, I saw a little girl who was still only looking for herself. Today, having finished year 11 and standing on the threshold of student life, I see a completely different person — confident, grown-up, purposeful. And the lyceum has an enormous part in that. Here children were treated not as names on a list but as individuals. A great deal of attention went into their learning, with explanations, support and belief in every one of them. The teachers did not simply hand over knowledge — they prepared the children for life, for choosing a profession, for university admission, for the language exam. And today I can say: the lyceum truly prepared my daughter for her future. But the most precious thing is the atmosphere. The best of friends. Constant excursions, workshops, projects, trips. Vika saw France, Czechia, Slovakia and Sweden, and travelled across Ukraine. Every journey was a small discovery, every event a step towards growing up. She came home with her eyes full of impressions, and I watched the lyceum broaden her outlook and make her braver, wiser, more open. Today, when she is almost a student, I feel not only pride in my child but also enormous gratitude. For years of care. For knowledge. For support. For the fact that the people beside her believed in her just as strongly as I did. The lyceum became the place where Vika grew up — not only as a pupil, but as a person. And for that I sincerely thank everyone who was part of her path.
